Open City (Open Source Participatory Democracy Platform)
The participation platform "Open City" was originally developed to give the citizens of the West borough of Amsterdam the ability to put items on the political agenda.
Impacts
This open open source platform is now being scaled-up and adopted by other Dutch cities through a collaboration between the cities of Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague, Utrecht, Alphen aan den Rijn, and the Dutch Association of Municipalities (VNG).
